23% - 30% of the United States population suffers from Allergies. A hypoallergenic dog is a pet with a decreased tendency to provoke an allergic reaction. Hypoallergenic pets still produce allergens, but because of their coat type, absence of fur, none or low shedding fur, typically produce less than others of the same species.

These charming little bundles of joy have been popular for a few decades and stars such as Jessica Simpson & Ashley Tisdale are pleased to show off their prized Maltipoos! Their coat is angel soft and can be either straight or curly. They come in many colors like gold, grey, cream, white, brown apricot, black or multi colors.

Temperament:
Maltipoo puppies are extremely intelligent and very good with children. They are affectionate, loyal, very playful, cuddly, and easy to train. Maltipoos are gentle and easy to get along with. They are happy, people loving (especially children!) and socialize well with other pets. Due to their calm natures, Maltipoos make excellent lap dogs. Playful and affectionate a Maltipoo puppy makes a great companion and family pet.

Health Concerns:
Unknown as no research has been performed on this mix, however mix breeds in general tend to be healthier than pure breeds, as the breeding lines are more broadly spread and there is limited opportunity for inbreeding.

Exercise:
Maltipoos love to play and will make a game out of almost anything - fetching toys or playing hide-and-seek! Maltipoos also love to cuddle and sit contently on a loving lap. Their energy levels from a scale of 1 to 10 would be from 5-7. A back yard is not required; they will do great in small apartments.

Life Expectancy:
About 15 years or more. High quality food greatly extends the life of a Maltipoo.

Grooming:
The Maltipoo should be brushed weekly and clipped every 6-12 weeks. Keep the nails trimmed. Trim hair around bottom and eyes as needed. Maltipoos do not shed and that makes them a good choice for allergy sufferers.

Our prices run from only $350.00 - $700.  Unusual colored puppies tend to go for a higher price, parti's are priced between $850.00 - $1000.00 because they are so unusual.

These are just as popular as the purebred puppies!
They are from two purebred parents of different breeds.  I only breed desirable mixes; ones that cross out the common genetic tendencies or improve
their coat or to help them be non shedding.  So if you are wanting a designer puppy, do your research on both breeds to understand their genetic
tendencies.  For instance, If you are looking for yorkipoos, make sure that the parents have good knees!  These are two breeds that both can pass
on luxating patellas, so with this mix you would want to make sure that neither parent carried this trait.
